I wrote the lyrics and did the editing, however the audio and art was pre-generated on Suno.com.
This was mostly for fun. The story is about multiple fictional galactic polities exclaiming their frustrations about a cruel galactic power known as "The Armada", which had total control over nearly all known space.
=LYRICS AND MEANING=
Boots on the ground
(Soldiers of have landed.)
Enforcers from on high
(They a brutal policing-force sent by the Armada)
Wielding guns from the stars above
(They are actively hostile.)
No fear for when they die
(Niecronians do not fear death.)
Boots on the ground
Let the Enforcers by
They'll storm our homes
(Civilians are often casualties due to extreme measures.)
We cannot ever ask why
(The Armada refuses to pay recompense.)
Boots on the ground
Enforcers from on high
Wielding guns from the stars above
No fear for when they die
Boots on the ground
Let the Enforcers by
They'll storm our homes
And we cannot ever ask why
[Instrumental]
"The Armada's Here" they say
(The Armada warns mostly-civilian worlds of their invasion.)
For what purpose I could only won-der
(Nobody is certain about the Armada's Agenda)
Eternal War they say
(In the background, there is a war that has continued for countless years, called "The Eternal War" in which the Armada is a participating member.)
But that cannot be true
(Many believe the Eternal War is fabricated by the Armada to hold power.)
For the Xyph are all far away
(The other participating member of the Eternal War against *everyone else*.)
"The Mezzer cannot be trusted"
(The Armada holds everyone else to be incapable of defending themselves...)
Or so the Armadans claim
(...and everyone else finds this belief a source of contempt.)
And when our homes are bus-ted
We'll see they're all the same.
(This is in reference to some believing the Armada has desires to wipe out the rest of the galaxy, like the Xyph.)
Boots on the ground
Enforcers from on high
Wielding guns from the stars above
No fear for when they die
Boots on the ground
Let the Enforcers by
They'll storm our homes
And we cannot ever ask why
[Instrumental]
