remaincalm GLOSS FX - Feature Overview
GLOSS is a free effect that models two amazing vintage ensemble choruses and a unique reverb (all adapted from our commercial plugin, GOSSAMER).
We've modelled a pair of vintage "string synth" chorus circuits - a deep and rich quad-line circuit from a rare late-70's Japanese flagship synth, and an early-70's European circuit that we've tweaked for extra grit and character. These can be freely crossfaded and have dramatic tone controls, allowing for a wide range of sounds.
Following the chorus is a dense reverb optimized for synth pads. The reverb control sweeps through a range of reverb parameters, from a medium room to a chorused synthetic cathedral.
Both of these are tweaked versions of some of the many modules in GOSSAMER, the ultimate modulation processor for unique synth sounds.
