How to Fertilize a Fruit Tree Properly Step by Step @Chácara Auto-sustentável:
If it's flat, draw a circle around the tree. This is approximately where the tips of the branches meet! This is where the root tips are located, where the tree absorbs nutrients from the fertilizer.
Dig a trench approximately 10 cm deep (I use a post hole digger) and spread at least 2 kilograms of pure California Red Worm Compost around the entire circumference. The best organic fertilizer in the world! The Manure of Manure!!! Lots of life! It may even contain California Red Worms.
If the ground is sloped, draw a half circle on the high side of the slope. You don't need to dig on the lower half. The dosage is the same: at least 2 kilos of Pure California Red Worm Humus. Don't forget to water well; use dechlorinated water, rainwater, pond water, or artesian well water, or if using chlorinated water, let it sit for 24 hours! I recommend at least a 22-liter bucket of water!
After watering well, just return the soil to its original location and it's ready!
I recommend repeating the dose every 6 months; it's great!!!
