The Dell PowerEdge R3930 supports DDR4 memory with 4 DIMM slots, accommodating both ECC Unbuffered and Non-ECC Unbuffered modules. You can install 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB DIMMs at speeds of 2133MT/s, 2400MT/s, or 2666MT/s. The maximum capacity for ECC Unbuffered modules is 64GB, achieved by installing four 16GB modules. For Non-ECC Unbuffered modules, you can achieve a maximum of 128GB by installing four 32GB modules. In our tests, we successfully installed four 32GB ECC Unbuffered modules to achieve a maximum capacity of 128GB.
