TELLING my HUSBAND I want to have a FREE BIRTH at HOME!
As many of you know I've wanted to have a water birth since harmony but never made it to the tub. Being that this is my last and final pregnancy I want to finally fulfill my dreams of having a water birth. I want to do it at home unassisted, unmedicated and on my bodies timing. I don't want to feel rushed and want to be completely comfortable surrounded by my family and share this special moment with my husband as we bring our first son into the world.
I'm pretty set on doing this and once my mind is made up that's what I stick with. In order to not doubt myself I haven't been working with a midwife so I have no one to call when I do go into labor. I have had all the necessary testing, anatomy scans and bloodwork done independently though labs that don't require a referral so I know I have a low risk and healthy pregnancy. The closest Emergency room is 7 minutes from our house in the event we need assistance.
I'm confident in my bodies ability and I believe in myself enough to know I can do it. Getting my family to be on the same page is a different story lol I excited touring you all along on this journey as we prepare for the birth of our son and can't wait to have this memory forever to look back on.
