Marsville iPad Pro Prototype in Figma
A quick interactive prototype on Figma, exploring UX concepts for passengers arriving on Mars and looking to book a room through an interactive app on an iPad. Obviously on an iPad because iPad Pros will be on Mars soon.. right?
A dark, red feeling to match Mars' mood with big, chunky UI elements to forgive errors made by (human?) hands adjusting to Martian gravity. New passengers on Mars are pushed towards discoverability rather than search, although search is available in multiple forms (text, voice, chip scan). In that context the systems tries to be proactive rather reactive. Offering possible rooms to minimize search time while focusing on experiences Martian inhabitants might want to have (solitary, pets, great view etc) rather than an endless stream of availability numbers, options etc.
Standard micro-interactions here but not so smooth because Figma offers no spring animations. I might do some of them in Framer for more control.
Obvious disclaimer: Marsville is just a random name that came to mind. All illustrations used are paid, so creators are compensated for their amazing work.
