Elden Ring DLC: Commander Gaius
this is such a dumb fight for one reason only as i said at the end, the attack where he charges at you is a near frame perfect dodge at least with a med load, idk about light load but its still prob bad. the lingering hitbox on the attack is so fat that it makes the window between a roll that's too early and getting hit by the boar period way too small.
he has a couple other attacks that are annoying like his gravity spear with an aftershock, or the boar's ass attack (literally) if you end up behind him, but at least they are learnable and predictable after a certain point. the charge is just straight up borderline luck to dodge if especially he starts it from further away
it sucks because im pretty sure this boss gets a lot of hate, but i honestly found him fun aside from that bs. if that trash wasnt a thing, he'd be a decent boss imo
but for now i guess they cant make good commander fights :p commander niall was trash and so is this one
