Homemade currywurst in the OptiGrill
Recipe:
5 (6) bratwursts
1 tbsp (1.5 tbsp) vegetable oil
130 g (175) diced onion
1 1/2 tsp (2 tsp) curry powder
¾ tsp (1 tsp) paprika powder
4 tsp (6 tsp) tomato paste
3 tsp (5 tsp) honey
a pinch of chili powder to taste
90 g (120 g) Dr Pepper
500 g (600 g) passata (strained tomatoes)
1 tbsp (2 tbsp) dark balsamic vinegar
5 tbsp (7 tbsp) applesauce
1 tsp (2 tsp) sweet chili sauce
juice of half a lime
