✦ plz i love these two so much it's not just the typical cheater and boy who's too in love to see it. rody and manon had such a beautiful relationship and I think that at one point they were genuinely in love when they were younger, but with Rody's issues and Manon maturing, it just became unhealthy for both of them.
Rody believes that doing something grand like giving expensive gifts was something a good boyfriend would do to the point it was destroying his health and Manon who couldn't take the fact that her boyfriend was hurting himself for her but couldn't form the proper words to properly break off their relationship so she decided to be harsh with her words because it's better for Rody to hate her than be alone knowing that despite breaking up, she did it because he loved him.
✦ I have so much to say about their relationship and I am so grateful there was a fic with manon pov they both deserve better omfg
