How to Configure Split Routing /Split Tunneling on a VPN Server
In this tutorial, we'll guide you through the steps for enabling split routing or split tunneling on your UTunnel Access Gateway. Split routing allows you to direct specific internet traffic through a VPN tunnel, while the rest of your traffic routes through your internet service provider. This setup enhances both security and performance by ensuring that only designated traffic uses the secure VPN connection.

1. Log in to the UTunnel Web Console, navigate to the Access Gateway tab, and select the gateway where you want to enable split routing.
2. Enabling Split Routing:
3. Click on the "Routing" option from the left pane and select "Split Routing."
4. Check the "Use Split Routing" box.
5. Choose either IP address or Network as the address type.
6. Enter the IP address or network ID with CIDR notation.
7. Saving Changes: Click on "Save Changes."
8. Perform a UTunnel service restart.
