Software Engineering Code of Ethics
We have a responsibility as software engineers to put good out into the world. The software that we build helps solve problems and improve the lives of our users in some small way (or large way, depending on the system). The IEEE Computer Society and ACM established a joint task force to create the Software Engineering Code of Ethics to help guide software engineers when faced with dilemmas in our careers. Is it a perfect roadmap to making ethical decisions? No, of course not. But it is a helpful guide that every engineering should read and understand.
