How to back up a website easily and manually saving the database and directory. A quick tutorial breaking down how to manually back up your website. This contains 2 main sections: Directory and Database. We will retrieve the database via PHPMyAdmin and we will get the directory from either the host's file manager, or by using an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) such as Filezilla. I will walk through both parts in as much detail while not being too platform specific.
