Hi everyone, winter vlog is here. This time we go to Madonna di Campiglio, one of Italy's known skiing place. But, we didn't come for ski. We go walking and explore the wintery mountain. It feels amazing inmmersing ourselves into the nature during winter. We go up to the higher level of the mountain. The view is just sooo beautiful. Walking unto the snow under those gigantic pine trees, listening it's crisp sound, feeling the cold winter air is a dream come true for me. I remember when I was a kid, sitting there imagining a place full of snow and people enjoying the white vast land cover in white. And now I'm finally living in that imagination. Just so grateful to the one above for every day of my life.
Another very interesting place that we discovered in Madonna di Campiglio is the limekiln or 'La Calcara' in Italian. It's a sort of a cave where people in the old times produce a quiklime (calcium oxide) from heated stones. Quiklime has many uses, some of which are in the industrial applications like house constructions, soil stabilization for roads, arthen dams, airfields, and building foundations. With the new technologies nowadays, this kind of manual process of obtaining this product does not exists anymore. Let's just say it's part of history.
Furthermore, we continued our walking on the snow for atleast 3 hours and we decided to go back down before the dark cover the mountain. It was a great experience and we wanted to share it with you. Hope you enjoy watching. Please show us some support, hit the like and subscribe button. Thank you.
