ANSYS Analysis Spur Gear Contact Analysis
contact stress in rolling-sliding contact of
involute spur gear and the effect of coefficient
of friction was analyzed. To achieve this, first,
three dimensional involute spur gear pair was
developed in Solid Works and the 3D model
was exported to ANSYS software. Next, the
analysis was done using both FEM and
Hertizian stress formula.
