Michael Conroy Centenary Commemoration 2017
A collection of photos from the many Irish events held to mark the centenary of the death of Michael Conroy, who was tragically killed while trying to save the lives of his fellow workers in the Granite Mountain - Speculator Mine Disaster on 9th June 1917 in Butte Montana. Michael was born in Mace Middle, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
