SwissStop Brake Pads Disc E

Pad Compound: Disc E

Durable, high-performance pad compound
Very easy modulation of braking force
High temperature stability for consistent braking performance
Organic pad compound, quiet operation and minimal rotor wear

Performance:

Braking Power: 9/10
Durability: 9/10
Modulation: 9/10

IMPORTANT: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimal braking power and durability.

Step 1: On a moderately steep descent, alternately apply the front and rear brakes for 20-30 seconds each. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

Step 2: On a steeper descent, alternately apply both brakes for 10-15 seconds each, ending the braking with an almost complete stop. Repeat this process 2-3 times.

Pro Tip: Bed in the rear brake pads on the front wheel. Exactly as described above. Then install the rear brake pads. Briefly grind them 2-3 times on a level road surface. Caution: Before replacing the brake pads, be sure to let them cool down sufficiently: Risk of burns!
