Cancer Drug Dostarlimab से 18 कैंसर मरीज हुए सिर्फ 6 महीने में ठीक
दुनिया में पहली बार एक दवा के ट्रायल में शामिल कैंसर के सभी मरीज ठीक हो गए। हालांकि यह ट्रायल सिर्फ 18 मरीजों पर हुआ है। उन्हें 6 महीने तक Dostarlimab (डोस्टारलिमैब) नाम की दवा दी गई, जिसके बाद मरीजों का रेक्टल कैंसर ठीक हो गया। सभी मरीजों में कैंसर ट्यूमर गायब होते देखा गया।
इस ट्रायल स्टडी को ‘न्यू इंग्लैंड जर्नल ऑफ मेडिसिन’ में प्रकाशित किया गया है। इसके लेखक डॉ. ल्यूस ए डियाज ने कहा, ‘कैंसर के इतिहास में पहली बार ऐसा हुआ है, जिसमें इलाज के बाद हर मरीज का कैंसर गायब हो गया है।’ ट्रायल के दौरान 3-3 हफ्ते पर 6 डोज में पूरा इलाज किया गया। पूरे इलाज की कीमत करीब 66 रुपये है। 6 महीने बाद इंडोस्कोपी, एमआरआई और अन्य रिपोर्ट में पाया गया कि रेक्टल कैंसर ठीक हो गया है। अभी तक ऐसे मरीजों का कीमोथेरेपी, रेडिएशन और कठिन सर्जरी के जरिए इलाज होता है। इनकी वजह से मरीज को कई तरह की गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं हो जाती हैं।
