John Pratt, the owner of Celestina Vineyard and the president of the Rogue Valley Winegrowers Association, reflects on his experiences learning winemaking, developing a vineyard and serving as President of Rogue Valley Winegrowers Association.
John Pratt grew up on a farm outside Lodi, California, and learned growing from an old Italian farmer Giovanni Franzoni. After growing up and pursuing a career in education for 40 years in California, he has returned to farming in Southern Oregon and concentrated on wine grapes.
