Full CG or Matte painting?

We agree that the key criterion is the time spent and your knowledge of the tool.

If you get the same result in two different ways but one of them is quicker, then you should opt for speed.

The workflow of many artists is almost based on Photoshop and collaging, while others try to work in Full 3d. Most depend on the task set.

But I know one thing for sure: creating images without any post-processing is pointless.

We can add an effect, whether they are fog or glare with one click.

Sometimes you have to adjust the brightness or change the shade of objects. Make glass or plants more expressive. This all is done in Photoshop easily and nicely.

And adding people to the render and their right editing in the image make the project much more dynamic and realistic.

That’s why a professional 3D artist should know Photoshop at a high level.
