Russia Oversees Northeast Syria From Helicopters In A Joint Patrol With Turkey

November 08, 2019 - Turkish and Russian troops on Friday conducted their third joint patrol in northeast Syria, under a deal between the two countries that forced Syrian Kurdish fighters to withdraw from areas bordering Turkey. The Russian military also deployed helicopters to patrol the area.
