Cosplay / Cosplay is a popular hobby, which consists in dressing up in costumes and acting out, body plastics and facial expressions of computer games, cinema, literature, comics, anime and manga characters. As a rule, this hobby includes the manufacture of a suit and elements of attributes of the selected character. It has some connection with the role movement (the difference is that cosplay does not imply the development of the plot and character of the character, but concentrates on the characteristic features described in the source), as well as with the historical reconstruction (requires a detailed reconstruction of the historical prototype).
The level and complexity of character creation can vary greatly and vary from simple themed clothing to costumes with a high degree of detail or a complex technical implementation of the elements. Cosplay is considered to be different from traditional Halloween or Mardi Gras costumes in that cosplay reproduces the attributes and specific character of an arbitrary character, and does not reflect the culture and symbolism of a particular religious event or holiday.
