Revit Quick Tip: Curved Curtain Glass Wall
Start with a Curved Wall:
In the Architecture tab, select Wall and choose Curtain Wall.
Draw a curved wall by selecting the Arc tool and specifying the curve's start, middle, and endpoints.
Add Curtain Grids:
Select the curved curtain wall.
In the Modify | Curtain Wall tab, click on Add Grid.
Place vertical grids along the curved wall at intervals. This will divide the wall into segments.
Adjust Mullions:
With the grid lines in place, select Mullion from the same tab.
Add mullions to the grid lines to create the framing for the glass panels.
Fine-tune Segment Lengths:
Adjust the curtain grids' spacing to refine the segments' curvature.
Ensure the segments conform to the curve for a smooth glass wall.
Final Adjustments:
Review the curtain wall in 3D view.
Make any necessary adjustments to the grids, mullions, or panels to ensure everything aligns perfectly with the curve.
