Day 7 of my 30 Days Challenge.
Today I’m sharing my Amazon interview journey — how I passed every stage but didn’t get the job.
It was for a Senior UX Designer role on the Payments team. I did the behavioral interviews, the design task, and even got great feedback. But in the end, no offer.
Still, it was one of the best interview experiences I’ve ever had.
I learned how to prepare around Amazon’s Leadership Principles, how to tell stronger stories during interviews, and how to detach my self-worth from the outcome.
Sometimes you “fail” and still win clarity. That’s what this story is about.
