Learning resumes in secondary schools after end of teachers strike
Learning activities in secondary schools across the country have resumed after the Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers called off their strike on Monday evening after a deal with the Teachers Service Commission. A spot check by KBC revealed that on the first day after the strike, some schools had reported a low turnout of learners. The strike was called off just hours after some schools opted to send students' home.
