Despot of the Delta
El Tigre, Despot of the Delta, The great jaguar, these were the names given to one of the most feared animals to roam the United States.
Man or beast was always on guard when ever they were in Jaguar country.
With historic hunting and loss of habitat the Jaguar was almost wiped out but today they are re- emerging in small numbers.
Hopefully they will be saved before we lose another animal to 'progress'
