Yomawari: Midnight Shadows est un jeu vidéo d’horreur de survie développé et publié par Nippon Ichi Software pour PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita et Microsoft Windows via Steam. Le jeu est une suite de Yomawari: Night Alone, sorti à l’origine en 2015 au Japon. Il est sorti au Japon le 24 août 2017 et dans les territoires occidentaux à l’automne 2017. Il est sorti en Asie avec des sous-titres chinois traditionnels sous Sega.
L’obscurité n’est pas un endroit pour être seul. Après un beau spectacle de feux d’artifice estivaux, deux jeunes filles commencent à rentrer chez elles. Cependant, un attaquant mystérieux les sépare, et les deux doivent braver la nuit hantée remplie de terreurs indicibles et survivre à l’obscurité.
À la fin des vacances d’été, deux jeunes filles se rendent dans une clairière pour assister au feu d’artifice du soir. La nuit tombe et les feux d’artifice se terminent, leur ville natale devient enveloppée dans l’obscurité. Sur le chemin du retour, quelque chose sort de l’ombre pour attaquer et les deux filles se retrouvent perdues dans le noir. Séparées et effrayées, les filles doivent se préparer aux terreurs de la nuit, faire face à l’obscurité pour se retrouver et rentrer chez elles. Cachez-vous derrière des buissons et des signes lorsque les ennemis s’approchent de vous, et utilisez les objets que vous trouvez dans les bois et en ville pour résoudre des énigmes et distraire les goules. Puis, découvrez des notes et des écrits mystérieux qui peuvent mener à quelque chose de plus sinistre que vous ne pouvez l’imaginer...

The dark is no place to be alone. After a beautiful show of summer fireworks, two young girls begin to make their way home. However, a mysterious attacker separates them, and both must brave the haunting night filled with unspeakable terrors and survive the darkness.
As summer vacation ends, two young girls visit a mountain clearing to watch the evening fireworks. As night falls and the fireworks end, their hometown becomes enveloped in darkness. On their journey home, something lunges from the shadows to attack, and the two girls find themselves lost in the dark. Separated and afraid, the girls must brace themselves for the terrors of the night, and face the darkness to find each other and make their way home. Hide behind bushes and signs as enemies approach you, and use items you find in the woods and in town to solve puzzles and distract ghouls. Then, discover notes and mysterious writings that may lead to something more haunting than you can imagine...
