When I think about Perseus and Medusa I do not think of them as a story of hero and monster. It is much more than that. Perseus and Medusa is a story about who we are. It is a story of what can happen within us when we face tragic events and how we can suddenly petrify ourselves and flood our emotions with stone.
I found it fascinating to design the characters and the ambience of this story. Some universal archetypes are represented here, like Hermes and the archetype of the old wise great mother. I designed the cave as a myth and an image of the uterus where the hero is truly born, even though this hero will accomplish a task he cannot fully understand. And in the end, the transformed hero could not find the real woman standing in front of him.
The power of this narrative is focused on archetypes and how that ancient wisdom still fits in our daily lives today. Perseus is not just a warrior. He is a soul seeking redemption. Medusa is not just a curse. She is a tragedy.
This video is a product of my imagination and the art of storytelling. AI alone does nothing. I worked very hard, day and night, to bring you my own vision and version of this story. I used tools like Nano Banana, Kling 3.0 and Veo 3.1 to generate the visuals, but they served only as digital brushes for my specific creative vision. Every scene, every transition and every word of the script was crafted to bring a new human depth to the legend of Medusa.
