This short screencast is a preview of upcoming features in Papermege 2.1 release. I will introduce two features: dual panel mode and download searchable PDFs. Dual panel mode is there for convenience, it makes it very fast and pleasant to move documents/folders/pages between locations/documents/folders.
By far most asked feature is the ability to download searchable PDFs - and here it is. Searchable PDFs the OCRed layer of text to that you can search in them by content offline.
Again this is just a preview just to keep you up to date with what's going on in the project. The Papermerge 2.1 is now under development.
Papermerge is open source document management system designed for scanned document. It natively supports PDF, jpeg, png and tiff file formats - the most common formats used by modern scanners.
