Intergalactic Playground || Flipaclip Film Festival
Hello hello everyone!!
I joined the #FlipaclipFilmFestival by working on the short film "Intergalactic Playground"
I started in middle of July, working on designing the characters to enhance their personalities, and I storyboarded everything to make a more cohesive story with the script given
Despite that, I started animating by early August and finished everything on
Just as requested by the rules, most of the work was done on Flipaclip. All of the animation, coloring and a few extra details were all done through flipaclip. However, CapCut and IbisPaint were used for editing/polishing the finished video and creating most of the backgrounds
My biggest gratitude goes to my sister (@/area.mp4 on Instagram!) and my best friend Zen ( / @zenwashere_5 ) for helping out with the editing and backgrounds! Without their overwhelming amount of support and great help they put on this project I wouldn't have been able to get this out on time due to the many busy days I've encountered throughout this journey. Thank you both so so much 🙏💖
Despite the many sweat and tears I've let out to get this done in a short period of time I had working on this, I am extremely proud of the finished product and I am very grateful for everyone who helped me through it and for flipaclip for giving me the chance to practice on things I don't usually have time to work on!
Plus, getting to meet this adorable set of characters was definitely something that will stay with me for a long time!
