Task Force Marne Paladin crews provide artillery support during Exercise Iron Wolf
U.S. Army M109A7 Paladin howitzer crews with 1st Battalion, 9th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, provide live-fire artillery support to NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Lithuania during exercise Iron Wolf at Pabrade Training Area, Lithuania, Oct. 9, 2023. Exercise Iron Wolf tests eFP Lithuania’s interoperable defensive and offensive capabilities in the region. The 3rd Infantry Division’s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
