E-Bike at the Nürburgring, cycling through the Green Hell, Rad am Ring 2024
We're riding our e-bikes through the legendary Green Hell. We're taking advantage of the opportunity to thunder around the racetrack during the Rad am Ring event.
Since its construction (1925-1927), the Nordschleife has enjoyed a reputation as a fearsome and unforgiving track through the Eifel forests.
Formula 1 driver Jackie Stewart – a three-time world champion, no less – was so impressed by the track that he gave it the name it will likely never shake: "Green Hell."
The fascination this unique track holds for car and motorcycle drivers continues seamlessly with cyclists.
The difference in altitude between the sections near Breidscheid on the one hand and the Hohe Acht or the area near Nürburg on the other is almost 300 meters.
This makes the Nordschleife arguably the most extraordinary roller coaster in the world.
