New Kolgrim Meme Alert! Players Beware!
Kolgrim decks are quickly becoming my favorite type of Gwent deck. Playing the game wrong just feels so good. The plan for this deck was to spend round 1 making my deck as large as possible while milling them out. Unfortunately, the moment players saw mill cards, they immediately tried to win round 1 at all costs even when it wasn't correct to. Some additional testing on the ladder with other decks proved that players have stopped thinking about how to play Gwent and have developed an obsession with winning round 1. I'm genuinely concerned for the overall IQ of the playerbase these days. Syndicate doesn't require coin counting. Everyone thinks round 1 is make or break. It's a hard life being a meme player who just wants to get to round 3 without being bled (though this deck is a 2-0 focused deck).
