Feel-good indie-pop music from Glasgow.
Chris Greig & The Merchants are four twentysomething year-olds trying to navigate the unchartered path of early adulthood and writing music along the way.
Their lyrics convey their own experiences of love, loss, friendship and moving to the big city. These lyrics are backed by their own blend of indie-rock and pop genres with influence stemming from Kings of Leon, Sam Fender and The 1975.
The guys have spent the last couple of years prolifically gigging around the Scottish indie rock scene, sharing the stage with the likes of Vistas, The Mowgli's, Indigo Velvet, Hipsway and Hue and Cry, to name a few.
After a seemingly everlasting lockdown, the unapologetically indie-pop 4-piece Chris Greig & The Merchants return with the latest installation to their indie pop/rock discography, ‘GLUE’. Reminiscent of a Sam Fender track, the guys have delivered yet another catchy indie summer bop, perfect for any road trip sound track.
