NAMD goes quantum
The Computational Microscope got new lenses for subatomic resolution. Our center used it to investigate the setting of the genetic code. Using a combination of Classical and Quantum Mechanics - commonly known as QM/MM - researchers worldwide can now investigate biomolecular interactions with a higher level of accuracy using NAMD and VMD, two of the most popular molecular dynamics and visualization software.
