The entire production process is lengthy and has historically been a challenging sell. Explaining to investors the need to invest substantial funds with no expected returns for six to seven years, especially when peers are quickly profiting from casual games and short videos, is particularly tough. It’s also hard to maintain team morale when they see others in the industry earning significantly without the same level of dedication to craftsmanship.
