Son's First Solo May 2022
Can you believe it? My how time flies... We've come a long way since our first video together showing him the traffic pattern in the sim. My son is 16 now and has been flight training in real life for about a month. He has about 8hrs of logged flight instruction at the time of this video. He's flying a Cessna 172N at Mid-Carolina Regional (KRUQ) where we are based. There is no doubt in my mind that the simulator has played a huge role in his quick progression. His Flight instructor says he's never seen someone this proficient this early in his flight training, and usually it's about 10-20hrs before students will solo. Enjoy!
