The score for Rodney captures a whimsical exploration into nature and the ecological problems the animals found within might deal with. the vast underground world of the game. The story begins with organic instrumentation to represent the grandness and natural state of the world and by the end, collides with industrialized and synthetic monobeats which foundate the struggle between progress and the naturalist world.
This albums title and artwork come from the first video game I ever worked on, although the end result was just a small college level proof of concept, I appreciated the work I put in at the time and the willingness from the team involved to communicate with me and allow me the chance to compose for them. Some of the tracks present were never put in the game; however I wanted to put this album together in homage to these memories and as a chance to release some of my older work in a fresh light. I intend to do a few more projects like this so I'm looking forward to it!
