On Aug. 27, 1946, Dr. Hans Laternser, counsel for the General Staff and High Command, argued that historically trials of the military leaders of defeated nations tried their won leaders and not by the enemy victors. In this Trial, he claimed the Prosecution has taken the military leaders and made them political leaders in an attempt to make them responsible.
