On March 5th, 2020 SITE SANTA FE held an evening with An Evening With RAKIM There was a one off conversation with CHUCK D interviewing RAKIM. Followed by a mind-blowing Hip Hop experience with RAKIM MC his raps with guest DJ RAASHAN AHMAD providing the beats and samples. The performance left no doubt as to why Rakim remains an icon, with his Lyrical style, vocal agility, and Jazz inspired riffs, in the world of Hip Hop, and those who hear his words and beats.....
The performance held in an intimate setting at SITE Santa Fe was captured and edited by multi-media artist, LOREN HAYNES, on his hand held iPhone, (with one hand in the air and his eyes forever on Rakim). Don't want to miss this ! Especially, if you missed it!

Loren Haynes has won numerous awards for his directing and photography.
His film, "Welcome To Sunny Florida" was recognized by The London Times, as "the Best Music Film of the Year. His film "HEARTS of DESIRE", which he wrote, directed, edited, and wrote and performed the music, won "Best Film" and Best Music in a Film" and "Audience Favorite" His many advertising and album images and and music videos garnered multiple awards and recognition.
