Review: Badge Magic - Adhesive For Clothing Emblems And Patches
I have a 6 year old daughter and she is into a lot of after school activities. As part of those activities she often has uniforms to wear that are specific to that activity like martial arts and girl Scouts. Those uniforms often require that patches or badges be attached to them both to get started and then as time passes.
In the past we all used to sew patches onto clothing by hand. I learned a little basic sewing by watching my Great Grandmother when I was growing up. I only learned enough to do simple stuff like sewing on a patch though. Anything more complex is beyond what I cared to learn.
More recently when she joined the martial arts program at Top Tier Martial Arts I was confronted with sewing their dojo patch on her uniform. I did that one with needle and thread but it was a fairly thick patch and I stuck my finger with the needle more than once. I got it done though and it doesn't look half bad.
I month or two later when her Girl Scout leader presented me with 3 more thick patches to put on her Daisy uniform I was less than enthusiastic. Luckily though she mentioned to me that there was a 2 way adhesive tape called "Badge Magic" that she used herself and she said it was a great tool for the purpose and eliminated the need for sewing altogether.
I went home and ordered Badge Magic from Amazon. I ordered one sheet for like $8 on my Amazon Prime account and had to ship it with another product to get free shipping but it was worth it. If you order the 2 sheet pack the shipping is free by itself with Prime.
In this video I try out Badge Magic and find that it is both easy to use and works as well as the scout leader told me it did. I definitely give Badge Magic 5 out of 5 stars for a great product that sames time and effort as well as injured fingers,
