This week on Financial Aid Boot Camp dahlings, we break down grants and scholarships aka the college funding equivalent of 'free money' because you don't have to pay them back nor do they accumulate interest. The difference between them though is grants are need-based while scholarships are merit-based. In this episode, we focus on Federal Grants: Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grants, and Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants. Sounds like a mouthful right? Well let us uncomplicate it for you!
