"There are few types of transmitter. The most popular types are analog transmitter and smart transmitter. Analog transmitter is a traditional and electronic transmitter that has been around in the market for a very long time.
Sometimes, smart transmitter can be called as digital transmitter. Nowadays, most of the smart type instruments will have HART capability for communication. Smart transmitter is more capable and versatile compared to analog transmitter as it can do a lot of things than its analog transmitter.
There are two types of calibration for smart transmitter, namely input calibration and output calibration. Sometimes, input calibration is called sensor calibration while output calibration is called signal calibration."
This channel shares a series of hands-on, simulated as well as conceptual knowledge videos about Instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting based on my actual working experience as an ordinary technician.
The approach taken mimics the real life experience that occurs in factory setting. I really wish my humble and little unknown videos will at least help those who wish to learn about process instruments.
