In the roguelike role-playing game Darkest Dungeon, the player commands a group of heroes and explorers to investigate these dungeons and battle the monsters within. The player can maintain an inventory and hero roster in the Hamlet, the "hub-town" of the game, which is located next to the mansion, before venturing into a dungeon.The facilities can be utilized to cure them, buy new things, improve character attributes, recruit new heroes, and lessen tension. Each hero has unique attributes and skills that can be enhanced over time. They are divided into fifteen character classes. A hero is permanently gone if they perish while venturing into a dungeon.
