The classic 303/Acid sound has remained popular since its inception in the late 80's and can still be found in a lot of modern dance music today, with Hard Trance being no exception.
I myself will usually always throw in a 303 / Acid of some description in most of my music and probably always will as the sound of the TB 303 is timeless and never gets old.
As a result of this there are now dozens of paid for VSTs on the market, such as D16 Group Phoscyon, ABL Bassline 3 and the Roland Cloud TB-303.
But can you get the same results from Freeware compared to the paid offerings? This video seeks to find the Best FREE TB 303 clone for all of your Acid needs.
To do this I reviewed 5 of the free TB 303 VST options that can be found and installed easily and tested them in one of my Hard Trance templates.
