After over 7 years of their relationship the sneaker giant and three stripe company Adidas has split with Kanye West and it has gotten ugly over the last year. In 2022, Yeezys generated over $1.8 billion in revenue for Adidas, comprising approximately 7% of its total profits. The report also indicates that Yeezy has been a consistent product in the Adidas lineup since at least 2019, potentially explaining the delay in Adidas severing ties with Kanye West--his shoe brand was a major source of revenue for the company.
