This is a video for the first two tracks from Dodola's 2021 Self Titled Instrumental Album
I guess for those of you who don't know, I write metal music (Dodola) and now I guess I make music videos of me playing that music. Which is pretty neat. I've always wanted to make a music video and I guess I have now. It's pretty cool, but I'm also super biased. This is from the instrumental version of the album I put out in 2020 so it is kind of like me waving goodbye to that music. I'm pretty excited to put out whatever I've been working on since then.
Over a few nights last year (usually around 10pm) I moved all of the furniture around at home and hung a dark green sheet on the wall using push pins (not even the green ones!). Then I put my cell phone on a mic stand and threw an IKEA LED Light Strip under it. After that was all set up and framed, I had a beer/s and played some really loud music for about an hour. It WAS HOT, I'm WEARING A SWEATER.
Maybe like a month or three later, I finally got around to uploading the videos to my computer and putting together this video and two others 😮 that'll air next week and the week after (so I guess something to look forward to?)
