Horizons - Genesis (Steve Hackett) - Paolo Chiarandini, piano
The original piece, entitled Horizons, is part of the album Foxtrot by Genesis and precedes the imposing Supper’s Ready. It is a short composition for six-string acoustic guitar, written entirely by Steve Hackett and inspired by the opening bars of the prelude of Bach’s First Suite for solo cello. In this piano version, we tried to enhance the simplicity of the harmony, exalting the delicacy of the touch.
