Scottish Places:HMS Gannet Prestwick gets Freedom of Ayr, July 2009
Footage and photos taken soon after HMS Gannet's Freedom of Ayr ceremony. The fun begins on the Low Green with the helicopter landing and families enjoying the sun and all the stands that have been set up for the afternoon. Sadly I missed the march past and taking the salute on Ayr High St. Various military stuff was on show including tanks, World War II bits and pieces and some very nice folk in uniform.
