Ruby was an American rock band that between 1976 and 1984 recorded three albums, Ruby, Rock & Roll Madness and Precious Gems (which was credited as Tom Fogerty + Ruby). In 1988 Randy and Tom made another album, Sidekicks, with Kevin Oda in the drums and Tom's son Jeff on bass; the album wasn't released until 5 years later, by which point Tom had died.
BART track information:
The instrumental track 'BART' (released in 1976) was named after the San Francisco Bay Area subway. The track was frequently used by the BBC to accompany test cards, continuity announcements and Pages from Ceefax from the late 1970s until 2012. When the digital switchover happened, the track was chosen to play out the closure of analogue teletext in the UK, in October 2012.
