The Battle Cats - Renewed Conflict
If you want a more modern approach to the stage, you're going to want to look at the third run. The first two require powerups, and were done out of historical interest rather than as actual guides, as they require powerups and don't use more recent units and true forms (in this case, leaguer and iCat).
Awakened Bahamut tends to die early, but as long as he doesn't die TOO early, you should be fine, especially if you have a good amount of desynced iCats on the field.
The combo isn't a strictly necessary part of the lineup, though it does make iCat's job easier.
